  • A porcelain veneer is a thin, custom-made shell designed to cover the front surface of a tooth, effectively concealing imperfections. Veneers can improve the appearance of teeth that are cracked, chipped, stained, or slightly misaligned. Veneers enhance confidence and address long-term esthetic concerns.

    Traditional Veneers – With traditional veneers, a small amount of enamel is removed from the tooth to create space for the porcelain shell. This allows the veneer to sit flush with your natural teeth, ensuring a seamless, natural-looking result.

    No-Prep Veneers – Prepless veneers require little to no alteration of the natural tooth structure, and in most cases, patients don’t even need local anesthesia. No-prep veneers are Dr. Abby’s specialty. She collaborates with top-tier ceramists to craft a custom smile design that perfectly matches your desired look.

  • A discrete set of custom-made aligners that gently straighten crowded, crooked, or gapped teeth. Invisalign offers an excellent alternative to metal braces, gradually guiding teeth into proper alignment.

  • Teeth whitening is a quick and easy way to get a brighter whiter smile with an in office treatment of 1 hour or less.

    ZOOM Teeth Whitening – The ZOOM whitening procedure is simple and effective. It begins with a short preparation to protect  your lips and gums. Whitening gel is then applied, ensuring full coverage of all tooth surfaces. Most patients see their teeth become six to ten shades whiter—sometimes even more—after just one session. A five minute fluoride treatment completes the teeth bleaching procedure. You’ll be amazed with the result of this teeth whitening system. It’s beautiful white teeth!

  • A dental crown is a tooth-shaped shell made of porcelain. At Vie Smile Design, this restorative dentistry treatment is often used to:

    • Restore a damaged tooth

    • Replace a missing tooth and can be accomplished with dental implants (link to dental implants)

    • Protect a treated tooth

    • Anchor to a dental bridge

  • If you have a decayed tooth, a filling is often used following treatment to restore the tooth structure. We use tooth-colored fillings instead of metal so that the filling blends in seamlessly with your natural tooth.

  • Cosmetic Botox is a great way to help blend and conceal or erase any unwanted lines on the face to create a more youthful look. 

    Enhancement to your dental work – we can also provide Botox to help reduce a high lip line or uneven smile that shows too much gum tissue. This is a great way to achieve the perfect smile with perfecting the soft tissue that surrounds the teeth

    Functional or Therapeutic Botox is a way to reduce the use or overuse of a muscle. Often clenching and grinding can be something that causes tooth damage, pain and headaches, usually Botox as a therapeutic in our head and neck muscles can reduce the overuse of those muscles and reduce the negative side effects. This can also create a slimming effect to the jaw line. Trigger point therapy (link) is also a great way to reduce tension and muscle pain thru the use of lidocaine numbing solution and Botox combine.

Dr. Abby Staffieri brings over a decade of experience and a passion for cosmetic dentistry to every patient she treats. She’s been practicing at her family practice Lavelle Family & Cosmetic Dentistry since 2012. A graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, she has advanced her training through elite programs such as the SPEAR Faculty Club and SPEAR Advanced Cosmetics Education. Dr. Staffieri has traveled nationwide to study the latest techniques in veneers, smile makeovers, and minimally invasive cosmetic treatments.
