Meet Dr. Abby Staffieri

Dr. Abby Staffieri brings over a decade of experience and a passion for cosmetic dentistry to every patient she treats. She’s been practicing at her family practice Lavelle Family & Cosmetic Dentistry since 2012.

A graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, she has advanced her training through elite programs such as the SPEAR Faculty Club and SPEAR Advanced Cosmetics Education. Dr. Staffieri has traveled nationwide to study the latest techniques in veneers, smile makeovers, and minimally invasive cosmetic treatments.

As an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), Dr. Staffieri is dedicated to blending health, function, and beauty in every smile she creates. She is also certified in esthetic injectables including Botox® and dermal fillers. She received her Botox® and esthetic training through American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE).

In addition to cosmetic care, Dr. Staffieri is trained in infant tongue and lip tie releases, supporting moms and babies struggling with breastfeeding.

She is a certified provider of Invisalign® clear aligners, oral conscious sedation (DOCS), and therapeutic Botox® for TMJ and trigger point therapy.

Outside the office, Dr. Staffieri lives in Prospect with her husband, Alex, and their three children.

A porcelain veneer is a thin, custom-made shell designed to cover the front surface of a tooth, effectively concealing imperfections. A dental crown is a tooth-shaped shell made of porcelain. At Vie Smile Design, this restorative dentistry treatment is often used to:

If you have a decayed tooth, a filling is often used following treatment to restore the tooth structure. We use tooth-colored fillings instead of metal so that the filling blends in seamlessly with your natural tooth.
Cosmetic Botox is a great way to help blend and conceal or erase any unwanted lines on the face to create a more youthful look.
Enhancement to your dental work – we can also provide Botox to help reduce a high lip line or uneven smile that shows too much gum tissue. This is a great way to achieve the perfect smile with perfecting the soft tissue that surrounds the teeth
Functional or Therapeutic Botox is a way to reduce the use or overuse of a muscle. Often clenching and grinding can be something that causes tooth damage, pain and headaches, usually Botox as a therapeutic in our head and neck muscles can reduce the overuse of those muscles and reduce the negative side effects. This can also create a slimming effect to the jaw line. Trigger point therapy (link) is also a great way to reduce tension and muscle pain thru the use of lidocaine numbing solution and Botox combine.
